Headquarters Training Command (IAF), Bengaluru observed ‘Vijay Diwas’ on 16 December 2024 by holding a ‘Wreath-Laying’ ceremony at the TC War Memorial to commemorate India’s historic victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The ceremony was held in honour of the brave warriors of the Indian Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice ensuring India’s sovereignty and leading to the creation of Bangladesh. Their valour shall always remain a symbol of national pride besides being a source of inspiration for the generations to come.
Air Marshal Tejbir Singh, Senior Air Staff Officer, Training Command along with officers of the Indian Army, Indian Navy and senior functionaries of Training Command paid their tributes to the martyrs. Veterans from the Indian Army, Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force were also present on the occasion.
