Celebration of Teachers’ Day, by the Art Cultural Educational Enlight Foundation (R), founded by Ambika C
On the occasion of National Teachers’ Day, the Art Cultural Educational Enlight Foundation (R), founded by Ambika C, organised a grand felicitation program to honour teachers who have shown excellence in extracurricular fields. The event took place on Sunday at the “Rangasthala” auditorium, located within the MG Road Metro Station premises.
The program was presided over by notable chief guests including G. Y. Padmarao, Editor-in-Chief of Indu Sanje newspaper, Gandasi Sadananda Swamy, actor and producer, B. K. Prasanna, senior journalist and founder of VK Digital News, and Srinath, founder of Natya Kusumanjali Institute.
In their presence, several distinguished personalities were felicitated for their achievements and contributions, among them were: Kalandar Bhasha, senior yoga teacher; Vidushi Smt. Geeta Srinath, senior dance teacher; R. N. Venugopal, law educator; Lakshmi P, yoga and fitness teacher; Jyothi Kannadathi, social worker; Jagadevi Bhoske, yoga teacher and NCC officer; Gopi, gym trainer; Roopashree N. R, yoga and intuition teacher; Vivek K. U, sports and physical education teacher; Roopa G. Guddanda, intuition teacher; Bharatanatyam couple Guru M. D. Ganesh and Guru Smt. Bhavana Ganesh; Praveena, head of administration at Little Elly Institution; Lakshmidevi, retired teacher and dance artist; and Akash, social worker.
One of the highlights of the evening was the High Range Book of World Records attempt, alongside impressive yoga demonstrations and intuition-based presentations by children, which captured the audience’s attention.
Anchored gracefully by Dhanushree, a Bharatanatyam artist, the program was conducted smoothly and witnessed the presence of respected artists, teachers, elders, and parents, making it a memorable celebration of the role of teachers in nurturing talent beyond academics.
