“SAMPARK SE SAMBANDH, SAMBANDH SE SANGAM”
The e-bike rally organized by the Madras Sappers, one of the oldest Engineer Groups of the Indian Army, in a grand tribute to the valour, commitment and sacrifice of its veterans reached Mangalore yesterday as the city crowds cheered them enthusiastically. The rally which trails across all four Southern States before converging at Bengaluru on 22 Nov 24 at MEG & Centre during its 244th anniversary celebrations, will reach Madikere on 19 Nov 24, dazzling the countryside & towns enroute displaying National, Army & Madras Sappers flags.
The teams of staff from Records MEG have embarked the journey with a distinct purpose of connecting with its veterans to address their grievances while fostering old bonds. All MEG veterans and dependents are invited to participate and turn up at the pitstops, where it would be endeavored to find ‘on the spot’ solutions to the issues being faced by them. Riding on e-bikes provided by UltraViolette Automotive, the rally also aims to underscore the importance of preserving & protecting our environment in the minds of the common folk.
