HCG Cancer Centre Leads the Charge for Women’s Health and Cancer Awareness at the JBG Invincible Women’s Run
HCG Cancer Centre proudly joined hands with the JBG Invincible Women’s Run, an empowering event conceptualized by Smiling Tiger Experiences, as the official Medical Partner. Held on 14th and 15th December in Mumbai, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from women across communities, all united by a shared goal of fostering physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
One of the standout moments of the event was the participation of HCG’s women employees, who embodied the spirit of strength and resilience by taking part in the run. Their commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle and raising awareness about cancer care was further underscored by a symbolic hair donation initiative. A few women participants from HCG, along with the event’s face and fitness icon Mr. Milind Soman, donated their hair to support cancer patients. This heartfelt gesture highlighted the importance of collective efforts in uplifting and helping those battling cancer.
Adding a valuable dimension to the event, Dr. Viju Murthy, Consultant- Breast Surgical Oncology, HCG Cancer Centre, engaged the audience with a brief yet impactful interactive session. Addressing the women present, Dr. Murthy emphasized the importance of early screening and shared essential tips for the prevention of breast cancer. Her insights resonated strongly, inspiring participants to prioritize their health and take proactive measures.
