In view of Tiru Onam festival on 26.08.2026, KSRTC has made arrangements for operating 90 extra buses to Kerala State as mentioned below in addition to the existing services to provide transport facility to the traveling public from 21.08.2026 to 25.08.2026. Later, special buses will be operated from various places of Kerala State to Bangalore on 30.08.2026.
Special buses will be exclusively operated from Mysuru Road Bus Station, Bengaluru and Shanthinagar Bus Station (BMTC) to Kannur, Kozhikode, Ernakulam, Palakkad, Thrissur, Kottayam, Thiruvananthapuram and other places in Kerala state. All premier Special buses will be operated from Shanthinagar Bus Station (BMTC), Shanthinagar, Bengaluru.
Facility is provided to book computerized reservation tickets in advance for the special buses.
Reserved passengers are requested to note the place of boarding in their reservation ticket.
Passengers can book tickets online by logging on to www.ksrtc.karnataka.gov.in
A discount of 5% on the fare will be extended, if four or more passenger’s book tickets in a single ticket and a discount of 10% is offered on the return journey ticket if onward and downward journey tickets are booked simultaneously.
Advance Reservation tickets for the services of KSRTC can be booked through the booking counters established by KSRTC at important cities of neighbouring States i.e. Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Puduchery, Maharashtra and Goa States.

computerized advance reservation network and also in KSRTC website for the information of the
traveling public.
