Shri Ratan Tata’s led a very simple life that embodied the values of integrity, honesty and character. He was not only a visionary leader but also a compassionate soul. One of the most unique aspects of Shri Ratan Tata was dreaming big and made giving back a core principle of his life. His passion for industrial growth played a crucial role in shaping India’s economic landscape, while his deep commitment to philanthropy set a shining example for others to follow.
He was a beacon of leadership and ethical business practices. We have lost a titan of industry, a man whose influence goes beyond business and reached the hearts of people everywhere.
During my time as the Industries Minister of Karnataka, I had the honor of inviting Shri Ratan Tata to the Global Investor Meet in 2016. While he was staying at the Taj West End Hotel, he graciously invited me for breakfast. It was a truly unforgettable moment in my political career, giving me the chance to engage with one of the finest industrialists I have ever known. Shri Ratan Tata, with his warmth and humility, embodied leadership at its best. His visionary approach and immense contributions have left a lasting legacy on the nation, making him the true doyen of Indian industry.
