“International Tiger Day” Celebration – Tiger Costume Cultural Walk and Photography Exhibition”

The Art Cultural Educational Enlight Foundation (R) Ambika C and the organization have been continuously organizing tiger conservation campaign programs for the past seven years.
On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, as part of “International Tiger Day Celebration”, a special cultural program was organized by their organization.
In this program, a “walkathon” by more than 100 people in tiger costumes and a tiger photography exhibition were conducted. The main objective of this program was to create awareness among school and college children and the public about the importance of tiger conservation.
On this occasion, the chief guests of the program were:
Smt. G. Kusuma, Deputy Director of Cubbon Park, N. Narendrababu, Manager of Ravindra Kalakshetra, senior journalists Nataraj and K. Shanthakumari, B.A. Somasekhar, Secretary of Sri Gangadhareshwara English High School, Smt. Uma G.R., Headmistress, senior wildlife photographer Shivakumar Natarajan, Advocate Ananth and the staff of Sri Gangadhareshwara School were present. They explained to the children the importance of tiger conservation and Tiger Day, and also played a key role in making the Tiger Day celebration a success.
