Under the aegis of Karnataka & Kerala Sub Area a new Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Polyclinic was inaugurated by Brigadier Joydip Mukherjee, Station Commander, Belagavi on 03 November 2025 at Bagalkot. The polyclinic aims to provide quality healthcare services to over 6000 veterans of the Armed Forces fraternity in and around Bagalkot district.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by senior military officials, veterans and family members of ECHS beneficiaries. The polyclinic is equipped with modern medical facilities and staffed by experienced healthcare professionals to ensure efficient delivery of medical services.
The inauguration marks a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare support for ex-servicemen and their families. The Station Commander, Belagavi expressed his gratitude to all who contributed to making the project a reality and emphasized the importance of ensuring quality healthcare for those who have served the nation.
The establishment of the ECHS Polyclinic at Bagalkot stands as a testament to the Indian Army’s continued commitment to the welfare and well-being of its veterans and their families.
