Sea Scouts and Guides India sets new world record as they celebrates Gandhi Jayanti and Semaphore hand signaling display.

In a historic feat of blending tradition, discipline and national pride, Sea Scouts and Guides, Mallasandra celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Semaphore display with a successful High Range Book of World Records effort at the Sri Kumaran Group of Institutions, Bengaluru.
Under the guidance of Ambika C, Chief Coordinator (South India), High Range Book of World Records, Captain Superintendent and Founder, Sea Scouts and Guides India, Dr. Gopishetty and Midshipman Geetha Chandrasegaran SSG, the organization organized a massive Semaphore display involving around 500 students from seven schools across the city.
The Sea scouts and Guides a three day camp was held from 10th October to 12th October at the Sri Kumaran Group of Institutions School, where the inaugural ceremony of the camp was inaugurated by the Principals of Sri Kumaran School, Mrs. Pushpakala Parasuraman and Mrs. Jayashree Ramesh, who also launched the Gandhi Jayanti and Semaphore World Record.
The event showcased the precise communication skills of the Sea Scouts, as the participants used the semaphore flags in perfect synchronisation to create visual messages celebrating the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi.
During the high range book of world record attempt and Sea Scouts Instructor Class Officers
Nilesh Shendkar, Pranav Dadut, Tejas Shinde, Prajwal Kamble, Akshay Budhwale, Chamundeshwari, Deepika, Kripa .D. shah, Manoj, Kokila, Girish and Hepsijiba along with Smt. Dr. Padma Navneet and Shivakumar were present and witnessed the world record attempt. The event not only added a world record to the record books but also stood as a tribute to the values of unity, discipline and service.
This achievement has highlighted the role of Sea Scouts and Guides in promoting skills, civic responsibility and cultural heritage among the youth across the country.
