Educators Honored at Bengaluru’s Inspiring Teachers Day Award Ceremony

The At Cultural Educational Enlight Foundation founder Ambika .C hosted a remarkable Teachers’ Day Award Ceremony at the Rangasthala auditorium in Bengaluru Metro Station on Sunday, recognizing outstanding contributions by educators from different fields.



Chief guests included G Padmavathi, former Mayor of BBMP and President of the Karnataka State Women’s Development Corporation; senior journalist Shivakumar Bellithatte; K.T. Chandru, Director of the Vishwa Vokkaliga Trust Sangha and eminent historian Talakadu Chikka Rangegowda. The dignitaries felicitated teachers who have excelled in various fields yoga, art, culture, social discipline, and extra-curricular activities, while also acknowledging world record participants.


Honouree’s spanned a variety of disciplines, such as Bharatanatyam artist Subbulakshmi Sekar, Sea Scouts and Guides India’s Geetha CHANDRASEGARAN, teacher and Sea Scouting Petty Officer Chamundishwari K, Principal and College Director Dr. Syeda Rubina Kowser, Communication & Soft Skill Management instructor Kripa D. Shah, co-ordination Shama Taj, yoga instructor Sumitra C, senior Bharatanatyam teacher Lakshmi Shree Sudhakar, Intution yoga teacher Roopashree N.R., and teacher and social worker Bharath Kumar G and Special attention was given to student participants including Neeraj R.R., Praneeth S D, Rahul S, Sinchana B A, Skanda Vinit B A, Manvit V, Mahathi S. Swamy, Mahit S Swamy, Hitesh Y M, Parikshit A H, Shankari R, Durgaprasad R, Ritwij S, Shraddha Tarak P, Sachit Tarak P, Lohita S, and Gireshma S, who contributed to the world record effort. The administrative team from Karnataka Little Institute, led by Praveena V and dance teacher Dhanusree VP were also lauded for their crucial roles in the event’s success.

A highlight of the ceremony featured a world record children’s yoga and Gandhari Vidya performance, alongside a vibrant music and dance festival, captivating attendees and adding cultural depth to the proceedings.
The annual ceremony aims to honor exceptional educators and inspire greater achievement in the arts, social work, and holistic development within Karnataka’s academic and cultural community.
