Devadasi women and their families continue to face poverty, housing, livelihood, education, healthcare and social-security challenges. The Mahila Maha Okkuta urges the Karnataka Government to immediately implement the Devadasi Act, 2025, approve the 2025 re-survey, increase pensions and financial assistance, provide housing, land, healthcare, employment and education, and establish a dedicated rehabilitation corporation. The appeal seeks dignity, economic empowerment and a secure future for three generations of affected families.
