PM Vishwakarma Yojana Awareness Camp" held in Koteshwara, Udupi district

Udupi: Sahachar Ratna, Vishwakarma Nadoja, Dr. BM Umesh Kumar emphasized the Vishwakarma community's potential to become entrepreneurs by utilizing various central and state government schemes, including the PM Vishwakarma Yojana. He made these remarks while participating as the chief guest and resource person at the "PM Vishwakarma Yojana Awareness Camp" held in Koteshwara, Udupi district.

During his lecture titled "Strategies for Achieving Success in Industry," Dr. Umesh Kumar encouraged Vishwakarma community members to consider entrepreneurship as a means of self-respect, highlighting the importance of preserving the community's traditional crafts. He urged every Vishwakarma to establish businesses in their respective traditional crafts, emphasizing that widespread entrepreneurship among them would facilitate the preservation of these core professions.

The event was inaugurated by Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Kota Srinivasa Pujari and presided over by Rath Shilpi Shri Lakshmi Narayana Acharya. Resource persons like Dr CA Nagaraj Achar, Raghavendra Achar, DIC Joint Director Nagaraja V Naik, Labor Officer BR Kumar, PN Satish, PDO Ganesh, Program organizers Shri Chandra Achar, Shri Rajagopal Acharya and a large number of artisans participated.
