Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan got married when they were still in their early 20s and have been married for over 30 years. The couple tied the knot way before Shah Rukh became a star in the movies and have stuck by each other through thick and thin. Unlike many of his contemporaries, Shah Rukh has not been in many controversies with regard to his personal life and in a chat with Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla on their show The First Ladies in 2008, Gauri was asked the secret behind having a faithful man. Although, later in the chat, Gauri said that “being faithful” was the most “overrated virtue.”
Gauri was told that she is considered “one of the luckiest women in Bollywood because your man is completely faithful to you. What’s the secret?” Gauri laughed out loud and said, “What should I say? Or is he hiding a few things which we don’t know about? Or does he keep secrets well?” After having a little bit of fun with the hosts, Gauri seriously answered, “No, there is no secret behind it.”
