BENGALURU – St. Francis de Sales College in Electronics City, Bengaluru, marked a historic milestone today, celebrating its newly conferred Autonomous Status and holding its Graduation Day ceremony. The Honorable Governor of Karnataka, Shri Thawarchand Gehlot lauded the college for its significant contributions to education, especially for the first-generation graduates, and commended its recent “A” Grade from NAAC. He highlighted that autonomy will enable the college to design contemporary curricula and innovate teaching methodologies.

the dignitaries included the Vice-Chancellor of Bangalore University, Col. Dr. Jayakara Shetty, the Registrar, Shri Sheik Latheef, K.A.S, and the Provincial of South West India Province, Rev. Dr. Thomas Kalariparambil, MSFS. In his felicitation speech, the Vice-Chancellor Col. Dr. Jayakara Shetty stated, "St. Francis de Sales College has consistently demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. The new autonomous status will further enable the institution to innovate and excel in higher education." 

In his presidential address, the Provincial, Rev. Dr. Thomas Kalariparambil MSFS, remarked, "This achievement is a testament to the relentless efforts of our dedicated faculty and the unwavering support of our stakeholders. We are committed to nurturing our students to become leaders and change-makers in society." 

Rev. Dr. Binu Edathumparambil, Principal of St. Francis De Sales College (Autonomous), in his annual report expressed his enthusiasm: "Achieving the Autonomous status is a testament to the relentless efforts and dedication of our faculty, staff, and students.
