Chikkaballapur, January 12: M.S. Ramaiah Youth Foundation gears up to organise a mega job mela on Saturday at Chikkaballapur. The job mela is expected to offer employment opportunities for more than 20,000 unemployed youth.
More than 120 companies have agreed to participate in the massive job and loan mela scheduled to be held from 9 am to 4 pm at St. Joseph Convention Centre on Sidlaghatta Road, Chikkaballapur. Six major banks are also participating in the job mela to provide loan facilities.
Youth Congress National General Secretary M.S. Raksha Ramaiah will attend the job mela to help the unemployed youth to get jobs on the spot.
This is the largest job fair organized for the people of Chikkaballapur and surrounding areas. The unemployed youths are expected to get jobs in more than 10 sectors including Information Technology, Biotechnology, BPO, various industries, sales representatives etc.
“Many youths have already registered their names for employment and loans. Those attending the job fair should bring their educational certificates, Aadhaar, photograph and other relevant documents,’’ M.S. Raksha Ramaiah said.
