All the applicants should have proficiency in Kannada language

Bengaluru: Applications are invited from eligible candidates in the age group of 21 to 50 years to be empanelled as Casual Editors and Casual NRTs at Regional News Unit of All India Radio, Bengaluru.

Minimum qualification required for casual editor is graduation from recognised university and degree / at least one year post graduation diploma in Journalism from recognised university. Those who do not have Journalism degree or Diploma but have experience of 5 years in print / electronic media can also apply. All the applicants should have proficiency in Kannada language.

Minimum qualification required for Casual NRT is graduation from recognised university. Should have proficiency in Kannada language and have voice of good broadcast quality.

Applicants for both Casual Editor and Casual NRT posts must be able to translate English into Kannada.

Preference will be given to those who have work experience in Radio/TV and knowledge of basic computer and also those who are residing in Bengaluru. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam and interview.

Application fees for the general category is Rs. 300 plus 18% GST (total Rs.354) and for SC/ST/OBC is Rs.225 plus 18% GST (total Rs. 266).  It should be made through Demand Draft  (non refundable) in favour of Station Director, All India Radio, Bengaluru.
