These 'warriors against acid attacks' are willing to serve in any part of the country.
These trained professionals work on need-based basis such as providing first aid, psychological counselling, infusing courage and confidence and also strengthen emotional quotient in the acid attack victims.
They have been provided hybrid-pattern training to handle any given situation.
Certificates were handed over to those who had completed the training by the Emotional First Aid Academy at a function held at Raddisson Blue Hotel.
Prof Sunitha K Mani of Emotional First Aid Academy is the pioneer in training these professional to take care of the acid attack victims.
"The life of acid attack victims is horrifying. This training of personnel is an attempt to enable the victims to rebuild their lives," Prof Sunitha K Mani said.
She further said apart from physical treatment it is imperative to offer psychological and emotional treatment to the acid attack victims.
Psychological Counsellor Mathew Baby Tharakan, Founder of Amruth IT Infosystems C. V. G. Prasad and others were present.
