An epidemic of stress creates particularly when every day we see new headlines of novel coronavirus with lockdown situations. In this background, under the umbrella of Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce & Industry Honorary Joint Secretary, (RCCI) Journalist Anubha Jain from Bengaluru conducted an interactive panel discussion ‘Learn to manage your emotions: Anger-stress management during the pandemic’ virtually.
Journalist Anubha was in conversation with the esteemed panel comprised of Dr. K.L.Jain, Honorary Secretary-General, RCCI; Rotarian Harini N.Ravindranath, RI District 3190 Secretary Designate (2021-22) from Bengaluru; and pranic healers Shweta Sood Nayyar and Shailly Anand from Calmfinity, Mumbai.
The keynote speakers Shweta and Shailly emphasized that every single thought we create generates energy so we should remove negative thoughts and think of happy moments to lead a blissful life in this time of uncertainty. The panel suggested the viewers about the meditation with healing techniques and other important aspects to encounter stress-anxiety with a more optimistic approach in this tough time.
In her opening remarks, Journalist Anubha said that we are living in the age of anxiety. The pandemic has led to psychological distress. We should accept the reality of the situation and focus on the actions that are in our control. Also, people should use this isolation time as a great opportunity for learning and to better understand themselves.
Chief Guest of the session Dr. K.L.Jain said that the massive problem of unemployment has generated today. Through stress management and by strictly following the prescribed guidelines we can eradicate covid from our nation. Guest speaker Rotarian Harini Ravindranath said that it’s a wake-up time. We should overcome our fear and stay connected digitally with our family friends. Speakers and other members present on the occasion said that such interactive sessions are the need of the hour and appreciated the efforts of Journalist Anubha for organizing the session. In the end, people asked questions to the panel. From the audience, Tulsi Das Bhatia suggested parents impart knowledge of Jainism and the teachings of sacred ‘Geeta’ to children in their free time these days.
